The Toolkit

Jazz Guitar ONLINE is maintained using Bob Patterson's personal computer, a Compaq Presario 1210 laptop (Pentium 150, 32MB RAM, 1.3GB HD, 33.6Kb modem, Windows 98)

Hand-coding of HTML is done using Allaire HomeSite 4.0.

The graphics are created in Adobe Photoshop 5.02 and optimized in Adobe ImageReady 1.0.

Music examples are authored in Finale 3.7 and converted to GIF format in Photoshop.

Audio is converted to RealAudio format using Real Encoder G2.

Acrobat files are created using Adobe PageMaker 6.5 and Acrobat Distiller 3.0. They can be read using Acrobat Reader, which is free to download.

The files are uploaded and maintained using Crystal Site Updater.
